Human Touch IOP: Yes, they have an IOP, and they are not a hospital. Because I have a severe mental illness with periodic flare-ups, I have been to many different IOP programs. I discovered Human Touch earlier this year, and I must say they are different than the rest — in a good way. The office is centrally located, the group size is limited to eight, it is 100% people dealing with mental health, not substance abuse, the facilitators are both veteran therapists with much experience, the psychiatrist is very kind, experienced, knows medications, and knows how to successfully switch them — very important — I've been to many psychiatrists who weren't good at that. I wholeheartedly recommend Human Touch Behavioral Health for your mental health needs!

Dr. Trivedi is awesome! My loved one is in the ECT program and is progressing nicely. After each treatment, I see a difference in him.
Dr. Trivedi explains the process in a way that is understandable. She is kind. She listens. She knows what she’s doing.
There is stigma in the general public surrounding ECT. The treatment has evolved so much since the earlier days. Hollywood’s depiction isn’t accurate. It is humane. Painless. Quick. The patient is sedated under general anesthesia. They receive a brief electrical stimulation that ‘resets’ the brain, in a way.
The treatment, including recover time, takes about 40 minutes. There may be a headache after. Sleeping afterward is common. The improvement is impressive.

Dr. Trivedi at Human Touch Behavioral Health is caring, supportive, and kind. I have, at times, had to leave town before my scripts were due for refill(s) and she has consistently provided me with what's needed in order for my medications to remain constant and on time; e.g. contacted a pharmacy where I will be in my travels and requested refills in that area. Dr. Trivedi and her staff are excellent in returning my phone calls, scheduling appointments, and following-through. I highly recommend Dr. Trivedi at Human Touch Behavioral Touch (including personally referring family members and friends), for the ongoing support and care that I have received, and continue to receive, for several years now.
